Overview
AC Milan lost to Feyenoord with a minimal score in the first leg of the Champions League play-off round last week. However, the opportunity is still intact for coach Sergio Conceicao's team when returning to San Siro in the second leg.
Remember, the Rossoneri are possessing impressive results at home this season. Most recently, they defeated Hellas Verona with an important goal from rookie Santiago Gimenez, thereby getting their 4th/5 wins in the most recent matches at San Siro. Before that, they defeated AS Roma, Parma, Girona and held Inter Milan to a draw.
Notably, the number of goals scored by the Reds for Milan at home and away also has a big difference, respectively 35 and 23.
Meanwhile, despite winning the first leg, Feyenoord still have reason to worry in the rematch against AC Milan in Italy. At the moment, the club from Rotterdam has gone through 5 consecutive draws and losses away from home.
Specifically, they lost to Lille, Ajax, PSV and drew with Willem, NAC Breda with the same record of scoring 3 goals but conceding 11.
In the only confrontation between the two Champions League teams at San Siro in the past, AC Milan was the winning team. With impressive home form at the moment, Rossoneri will know how to defeat Feyenoord to advance to the round of 16.
Personnel situation
AC Milan's Emerson Royal could be absent due to calf problems, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek is doubtful to feature. Fikayo Tomori was suspended for the Serie A match against Venezia last weekend and will return.
On the other side of the front line, Feyenoord are worried about many injuries with Quinten Timber, Ayase Ueda and Calvin Stengs on the list of players currently having problems. Ibrahim Osman and Carranza could start, while Paixao will keep his place in attack.

Feyenoord: Wellenreuther, Smal, Hancko, Beelen, Read, Milambo, Osman, Moder, Paixao, Hadj Moussa, Carranza.
