A number of Manchester United players are said to have discussed whether Ruben Amorim would be best served by adjusting his tactical approach.
The Red Devils appointed Amorim in November last year after parting ways with Erik ten Hag. However, Man United have struggled for consistency and currently sit 13th in the Premier League. The 40-year-old continues to work largely with the squad he inherited from Ten Hag.
There is no clear sign that the dissatisfaction in the dressing room at United

Amorim enjoyed success at Sporting Lisbon with his favoured 3-4-3 formation and has continued to deploy that formation at Old Trafford, but concerns have been raised about the Portuguese's tactics as his team's overall form has not improved.
The news comes just a week after former defender Gary Neville questioned whether Amorim could instill his ideas in United's struggling squad.
"I thought things would get better when Ruben Amorim came in. With his enthusiasm and the new system, the players would buy in and we would see a recovery. But we saw the complete opposite and things got a lot worse," the former Man United defender told The Gary Neville Podcast after the defeat to Crystal Palace.
"Manchester United will obviously continue to believe in Amorim. But the more you lose, the harder it is for a manager to convince the players of his ideas. It weakens the players' thinking to the point where they start to lose faith in that idea and that will hurt you," Neville added.

Amorim has indicated that he will not change his plans going forward. The former Sporting boss won just nine of his 20 games in charge at Old Trafford.
Overall, the picture is getting bleaker: United have won just eight of their 24 Premier League games this season, and their chances of qualifying for Europe next season appear to be over.
The Red Devils are still in the FA Cup and Europa League, but scrutiny is likely to increase in the coming weeks if United fail to escape the bottom half of the Premier League table.
