The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism submitted to the Prime Minister on awarding Certificates of Merit to coach Kim Sang-sik and 4 assistants after winning the U23 Southeast Asian Championship.

On October 10, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Document No. 429/TTr-BVHTTDL on awarding the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to individuals for their outstanding achievements at the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Football Championship in Indonesia.

Pursuant to the Law on Emulation and Commendation (2022); Decree No. 152/2025/ND-CP (2025); Decree No. 43/2025/ND-CP (2025) - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism plans to award the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to coach Kim Sang-sik and 4 assistants including Yoon Dong-hun, Lee Jung-Soo, Lee Woon-jae (Korean nationality) and Cedric Roger (French nationality).

Mr. Kim and his assistants have had coaching achievements, directing the athletes to compete excellently to win gold medals at the U23 Southeast Asian tournament.

Previously, in early August, the Prime Minister awarded Certificates of Merit to the U23 Vietnam team, 23 players and assistant coaches for their outstanding performance and training.

In addition, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 other individuals including: Mr. Tran Anh Tu - Head of the U23 Vietnam team; Mr. Do Anh Van - interpreter; Mr. Nguyen Truong An - team doctor; Mr. Vu Anh Dung - medical staff and Mr. Luu Quang Loi - medical staff.
