According to Lao Dong, Quang Nam club is in the final stages of the process of transferring and receiving a new investor. This move opens up an opportunity for the Quang team to return to the V.League race after the risk of withdrawing.
Previously, the leaders of the People's Committee of Da Nang City issued a document calling on local businesses to sponsor, invest and take over both the Quang Nam club and the province's youth training center.
This is considered a solution to "rescue" the team in the context of not having much time to prepare for the new season.
Meanwhile, SHB Da Nang is also ready to support Quang Nam in terms of personnel as well as coaching staff, because the Quang team has parted ways with coach Van Sy Son and many other players.
According to Lao Dong's research, a new coach will be announced in the next few days. At the same time, the recruitment of domestic and foreign players is also being accelerated.
Previously, on July 22, the General Secretariat of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) submitted a plan to adjust and add teams to participate in the new season. Submission No. 290/Ptr-BTTK has been approved by the VFF Executive Committee with the content of choosing option 2-ie adding replacement teams in professional and non-professional tournaments in 2025-2026.
However, this option will only officially take effect if Quang Nam documentsally confirms the merger or personnel coordination with SHB Da Nang (ie withdrawal from V.League). This is a necessary condition to ensure legality and transparency in keeping a place in the V.League.
On the other hand, Binh Phuoc club is not ready in all aspects to meet the harsh requirements of the highest professional playground in Vietnam, if they are promoted to V.League.
If all procedures are completed on time, Quang Nam club will officially participate in V.League 2025-2026 and end a series of unstable days.
