Previously, on July 21, Quang Nam Football Development Joint Stock Company - the managing unit of Quang Nam Club - sent a document to the leaders of Da Nang City and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, informing the team that it was at risk of having to disband if it could not find a potential sponsor in time.
Currently, Da Nang City is actively taking action, calling for the cooperation of the business community to find a feasible financial solution, keeping professional competition spots for Quang soil football. According to the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, the consensus is "determined not to let the team disband".

Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) - the organizer of professional tournaments - previously issued two documents requesting Quang Nam Club to have a response before 5:00 p.m. on July 23 about participating in the 2025-2026 season. However, to facilitate the funding mobilization, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City has officially proposed an extension of one more day.
A VPF leader confirmed that he had accepted the offer and was considering support. If there is no official response after this new deadline, the team from Quang will face the risk of being eliminated from the tournament.
