On the afternoon of November 5, at Tan Hiep Stadium (HCMC), the match between STP Food HCMC and Truong Giang Gia Dinh in the 4th match of Group C of the 2025-2026 National Third Division took place in unfavorable weather conditions.
In the 7th minute, Nguyen Cao Ky opened the score for STP Food after a close-range shot. In the 36th minute, Huynh Van Hai scored the equalizer 1-1 for Truong Giang Gia Dinh.
In the second half, a notable incident occurred in the 65th minute when the main referee awarded a penalty to STP Food HCMC. However, after discussing with his assistant, he withdrew the decision (whistled) and let the ball go to Truong Giang Gia Dinh.

This caused the STP Food team in Ho Chi Minh City to react quite strongly. Some players pulled to the sidelines, some even brought chairs onto the field to sit. Meanwhile, coach Nguyen Van Long also fiercely debated with the referee team.
The match was suspended for about 10 minutes because STP Food players did not continue playing. After supervising the match and working with the coaching staff and team leadership, the players returned to the field. The match was resumed from the 75th minute and there were 7 more minutes of extra time.

As the match continued, the two teams continued to play hard but no more goals were scored. The slippery surface of the field due to heavy rain and high competition density has affected the quality of the players.
The 1-1 draw helped STP Food HCMC have 7 points after 4 rounds, while Truong Giang Gia Dinh ended a streak of 4 consecutive wins but still maintained the top spot in Group C with 10 points.
Most likely, after this round ends, STP Food HCMC may have to accept a penalty from the Disciplinary Board of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
