Representatives of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) attending the conference were President Tran Quoc Tuan and General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu.

This is an important event regularly organized by FIFA to promote strategic exchanges and comprehensive cooperation between members in the development of global football.

This year's conference focuses on a number of key topics such as developing youth football, women's football, improving technical coaching capacity, the "Football for Schools" program, the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) initiative as well as the plan to expand the FIFA Women's World Cup to 48 teams from 2031.

At the conference, FIFA President Gianni Infantino emphasized the importance of supporting member federations through the FIFA Forward program - an initiative to invest in developing infrastructure, human resources and community football.

Within the framework of the conference, President Tran Quoc Tuan met with FIFA President and senior leaders of other member federations. The exchange aimed to strengthen international partnerships, while seeking opportunities for cooperation and supporting the long-term development of Vietnamese football.

President Tran Quoc Tuan expressed his gratitude to Mr. Gianni Infantino for his active support for Vietnamese football through FIFA Forward projects. He also invited the FIFA President to visit Vietnam and proposed to host a number of FIFA international conferences in the coming time.
