Before the key stage of the National Professional Football Season 2024-2025, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has issued a document to send to Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF), Clubs, Arbitration Board and Supervisory Forces, Requires to strengthen the organization and administration of the final matches of the season.
In the context of the fierce championship and relegation races, VFF emphasized the requirement for relevant units to enhance their sense of responsibility, ensure fairness, transparency and professionalism in the entire competition organization process.
According to the instructions, VPF needs to continue to closely monitor the matches, promptly guide and remind the teams to fully implement regulations on security, safety and health in accordance with the Charter and Regulations on professional football.
For refereeing, the Referees must ensure the appointment of the right person, the right match, and the level and nature of each match. At the same time, it is necessary to organize a serious experience review after each match, determined not to repeat the mistakes that have occurred. If necessary, it is possible to propose inviting international referees to officiate key matches to increase objectivity.
Supervisors and referees must promote their roles, ensure fair and accurate management, especially in matches where VAR technology is applied, and need close coordination to make decisions in accordance with the law and convincingly.
In addition, club leaders and coaching staff are required to focus on educating players about competitive ethics, professionalism and responsibility towards fans. Teams need to strictly comply with regulations on speech, closely coordinate with the tournament organizing committee and resolutely prevent and combat negative behavior and arrange the score.
The organizers of the matches also need to actively coordinate with local authorities to enhance measures to ensure security and safety for the match, especially for the visitors and the visitors. At the same time, promoting propaganda to prevent extremist acts affecting the order and prestige of the tournament.
The Standing Committee of the VFF Executive Committee emphasized that these measures are necessary to ensure complete success for the 2024-2025 season, while contributing to enhancing the image and reputation of Vietnamese professional football in the eyes of international fans and friends.
