Many fans without tickets found a location right next to Jalan Besar Stadium to watch the match between Vietnam and Singapore in the first leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 semi-final.

On the evening of December 26, the first leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 semi-final between host Singapore and the Vietnamese team took place at the Jalan Besar artificial field.

During the match, a group of fans were present in a building next to the stadium. They had a hard time watching the competition between the two teams through the ventilation window which was blocked by bars.

This has proven the attraction of the match between Singapore and Vietnam. Previously, because the capacity of Jalan Basar Stadium was only about 6,000 seats, both Singaporean and Vietnamese fans had difficulty finding tickets to watch the match live.

In addition, the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) only issued about 300 tickets for away fans. Therefore, Vietnamese fans also did not have many conditions to go to the stadium to watch the match.

It is known that the organizers have arranged a number of outdoor football viewing areas, live coverage of the match at Jalan Besar. The Strait Times reported that there are a total of 11 outdoor large screen viewing locations located at One Punggol, Wisma Geylang Serai, Kaki Bukit CC, Keat Hong CC, Jurong Spring CC, Pek Kio CC, Radin Mas CC, Tampines…
