After a week of training at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, the Vietnam women's team moved to Cam Pha (Quang Ninh) to enter the next phase, in the training session to prepare for the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Championship which will take place in early August.
Head coach Mai Duc Chung and the coaching staff will have 10 working days with advanced training plans for the players with the goal of the whole team having the best physical strength and drop points before entering the upcoming tournament.
Previously, sharing with the media representative, Mr. Mai Duc Chung hoped that winning a ticket to the 2026 Asian Women's Championship finals would be a motivation for his students to continue to strive harder, towards the Southeast Asian Women's Championship. This is a playground that is predicted to be more difficult, but the Vietnam women's team will compete with a high determination.
At the training session in Cam Pha (Quang Ninh), the Vietnam women's team played at Van Long Hotel and had 2 familiar training locations: Cam Pha football field and Tuan Mai beach. In the first training session on the morning of July 21, Huynh Nhu and her teammates spent more than 1 hour on Tuan Mai beach.

Due to the impact of storm No. 3 (Wipha), the weather in Cam Pha (Quang Ninh) had light rain, but did not reduce the training atmosphere of the whole team.
On the contrary, changing the training location not only helps improve the spirit of the players but is also a condition for the coaching staff to provide more rich training plans as well as games to help unite the whole team.
According to the plan, the Vietnam women's team will have another training session on the beach. In the remaining time, the coaching staff has built a curriculum with exercises on Cam Pha grass field. Coach Mai Duc Chung will continue to improve the framework as well as try personnel during this time.
At the end of the Cam Pha (Quang Ninh) training session, the Vietnam women's team will continue to travel to Hai Phong on July 30, preparing to participate in the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Championship, which will take place here from August 6 to August 19.
Previously, head coaches Mai Duc Chung and Huynh Nhu will go to Australia to participate in the draw for the 2026 Asian Women's Championship finals, taking place on July 29.
