The V.League 2025-2026 transfer market is not bustling with everyone. The first 3 weeks have only witnessed a group of bustling clubs "one after another".
The defending champion Nam Dinh quickly brought in A Mit (moved from Thanh Hoa) and Dang Van Toi (Hai Phong). The Cong Viettel recruited Golden Boot Locker Lucao (Hai Phong), Dang Van Tram (Ha Tinh) and convinced Song Lam Nghe An to loan goalkeeper Van Viet.
Meanwhile, The Cong Viettel also parted ways with central defender Nguyen Duc Chien when he joined Ninh Binh. This is not the only deal for V.League new recruits.
This team is said to have spent a large amount of money for Hoang Anh Gia Lai to accept the release of Chau Ngoc Quang, Tran Bao Toan, Dung Quang Nho. In addition, with the ambition to compete for the championship, Ninh Binh also soon brought in 3 foreign players: Gustavo Henrique, Pedraza and Victor Morales.
Hanoi Police Club is not left out in the early stages of the transfer market. The Hang Day home team has recruited Nguyen Thanh Long (Thanh Hoa), Tran Dinh Tien (Hong Linh Ha Tinh), Brand Ly (U21 Burnley).
Certainly in the coming time, Hanoi Police will promote the recruitment of 2-3 more foreign players to increase the depth of the force to prepare for 4 fronts in the 2025-2026 season.
Without rushing to buy like the above group of teams, Hai Phong flexibly adapts to having to part ways with key players. After defender Van Toi and striker Lucao left, the Hai Phong team quickly brought in striker Joel Tagueu and midfielder Antonio Luiz (Thanh Hoa).
Coach Chu Dinh Nghiem wants to fill key positions soon, to ensure the squad continues to be strong enough to compete for relegation like previous seasons.
Worrying about many clubs
At the end of the ups and downs of the season, Thanh Hoa has said goodbye to a number of key players. They are A Mit, Antonio Luiz, Thanh Long and Gustavo Santos. However, in the opposite direction, the Thanh team has not announced any deals.
A similar story happened to Hong Linh Ha Tinh. In addition to coach Nguyen Thanh Cong, the Central region representative has terminated contracts with Xuan Truong, Van Tram, Dinh Tien and Viet Trieu. Viktor Le's future is also uncertain, as Ninh Binh and Hanoi Police are ready to buy back his contract.
In the next few days, Ha Tinh will announce the identity of the new head coach. This coach will proactively contact, seek new resources, and fill the positions he has recently left.
Hoang Anh Gia Lai also parted ways with many players. After Ngoc Quang, Bao Toan, Quang Nho arrived in Ninh Binh, the team from the mountain town also ended its contract with Washington Brandao and Le Van Son. Notably, leader Tran Minh Vuong left Pleiku after more than 12 years of professional competition for this club.
But unlike most other football teams, Hoang Anh Gia Lai has a policy of not buying big. Mr. Duc's orientation is to give opportunities to young players of the 2003 and later generation, thereby ensuring that the operating budget is maintained at a moderate level. Of course, in return, they are only aiming for the right goal in V.League 2025-2026.
Meanwhile, Hanoi FC made fans worried. After the Hendrio deal, which was completed in mid-May, the Capital team has not had any other major contracts.
