On the morning of May 9, the Vietnam women's futsal team won 3-0 against the Philippines in the second match of the group stage of the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship. This victory helped coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team officially win a ticket to the quarter-finals.
After the match, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang shared about the performance of the Vietnam team.
He said: Today the team entered the match better than before. Your spirit is also better. Our team controlled the game and from there had many advantageous situations".
Evaluating the match, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang analyzed: Each moment of the match will have different situations.
In the first half, we pressed higher, not giving the opponent much space to deploy.
In the second half, we increased our concentration and stability. I am very happy that the team won. That is the effort of all the athletes, you have competed at more than 100% of your strength".
When asked about the preparation for the upcoming important match against the Iranian championship, the Vietnamese female coach Futsal said: "After each match, the coaching staff will analyze and evaluate to see what good and bad points will also analyze the Iran team to have a reasonable match for the next match."
Regarding the strength situation, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang also informed: "Currently, there are no serious injuries after the match, some of you may be a little overloaded, so the coaching staff will have a plan to fix them to get the best physical condition for the next match".
The final match in the group stage of the Vietnam team will take place at 4:00 p.m. (Vietnam time) on May 11 against Iran.
