The friendly match between the Vietnam women's team and the Werder Bremen women's club will take place at 19:00 on May 16 at Hang Day Stadium.
This is an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany.
Sharing at the pre-match press conference, coach Mai Duc Chung said that the Vietnam women's team did not focus on results: "The team has only been focusing for more than a week, the preparation is not yet complete.
This match is friendly, we entered the field with a learning spirit but will play with high determination".
Coach Mai Duc Chung admitted that the Vietnam women's team is inferior to their opponents in terms of physical strength and physique.
"The other team is physically better, the tallest team has strength, because they come from Europe. The women's team is rejuvenating the squad, with many young players.
Now we are still missing 2-3 players from the U19 team, along with some players from Ho Chi Minh City preparing to play in the Asian Cup C1.
The force is not enough, but with the spirit of learning, we have to try our best."

The 73-year-old coach said he would give young players a chance. However, there are some players who are in the national team for the first time and have not yet met the national team, so getting used to and adapting to the playing style will take time.
"We try to harmoniously arrange between experienced and young players, so that they can gradually get used to the team," said coach Mai Duc Chung.
For his part, coach Werder Bremen also expressed his excitement before the friendly match with Vietnam.
Mr. Thomas Horsch shared: "We are very happy and proud to be in Hanoi, Vietnam. We are honored to be in the preparation of the Vietnam women's team for the upcoming tournaments.
The team just finished the Bundesliga season last weekend, then the whole team moved here. The weather in Hanoi is very different, we will try to adapt".
"I don't know many Vietnamese teams, but I have watched the friendly match between the women's team and RB Leipzig in Germany.
Their players have good and even technique. This is a new experience for Werder Bremen when facing a highly skilled opponent.
The Vietnamese women's team competed in the World Cup and played a friendly match with Germany.
So we decided to bring a very strong squad. We will try in tomorrow's match," said Mr. Horsch.

Werder Bremen midfielder Ricarda Walkling also sent his thanks for the warm welcome of the Vietnam Football Federation.
"I am proud to be a part of the friendly match with the Vietnam women's team. I see the Vietnamese climate as hot and humid, but as players we have to adapt to all circumstances.
I will try and be determined for tomorrow's match. Hopefully there will be more spectators coming to watch the match between the two teams," Walkling shared.
