This morning (September 16), at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the draw ceremony for the final round of the 2025 National U21 Football Championship took place online, with the participation of VFF representatives, the tournament organizing committee and the leaders and coaches of the participating teams in the final round.
This year's tournament brings together 12 excellent teams that have passed the qualifying round, including the host team, Ho Chi Minh City Football Club. The teams are divided into 3 groups, each group consisting of 4 teams.
According to the draw results, Group A brings together traditional names, such as Song Lam Nghe An, Da Nang and PVF-CAND, along with the host of Ho Chi Minh City Football Club.
Group B is an equally attractive competition between prominent training centers such as PVF, The Cong Viettel and Ho Chi Minh City, along with a Tay Ninh that is in stable form and full of aspiration to create surprises.
Meanwhile, Group C is a gathering place for potential representatives such as Hoang Anh Gia Lai I - the reigning champion of the National U21 Championship with Hanoi, Dong Thap and Dak Lak.

The final round of the 2025 National U21 Championship will take place from July 20 to August 1 at three stadiums in the Ho Chi Minh City area including: Ba Ria, Long Tam and Tan Hung. The teams compete in a round robin to calculate ranking points in each group, selecting teams to the quarter-finals according to the tournament regulations.
This is an important tournament in the national competition system, a place for young players at the U21 age to compete, accumulate experience and assert themselves, and at the same time an opportunity for scouts to discover potential factors to supplement professional clubs as well as the U23 team and the National team in the future.
With the participation of leading youth training centers in the country, high professional quality, and careful preparation from the organizing committee and the host locality, the final round of the 2025 National U21 Football Championship promises to bring quality matches, rich in emotions, worthy of being a launching pad for the generation of young Vietnamese players.
