The final match of the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Football Championship will be a fateful meeting between U23 Vietnam and U23 Indonesia.
Previously, in 2023, the two teams also met in the championship match. At that time, U23 Vietnam overcame the team from the archipelago after a series of tense penalty shootouts to win the championship, thereby dominating the regional playground with two consecutive championships.
