Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh warmly commended and sent compliments to the coaching staff, players, support teams and those accompanying the national U17 men's football team, including the important tactical direction role of head coach Cristiano Roland.
In the Prime Minister's letter, "Tens of millions of football fans and people of Vietnam are very happy and excited to witness the U17 national football team playing resilient and excellent to win important scores against strong teams on the continent like Australia and defending U17 Asia U17, opening a big opportunity in the U17 Asian Final and also a World U17 qualifying round in 2025.
This is a very impressive result, showing continuous efforts, competing solidarity, enthusiasm with a brave heart, determined not to step back before difficulties and always burn hard because of the color of the flag of the national football U17 team.
On behalf of the Government, I warmly commend and congratulate the coaching staff, players, support team and those who accompany the team, including the important tactical leadership role of head coach Cristiano Roland.
In tonight's decisive match, I hope and believe that the coaching staff and players will prepare well, have appropriate tactical plans, compete with the highest concentration and determination, with "hot heart, cold head", unite to achieve the best results, affirming the development of Vietnamese football in particular and regional football in general; at the same time, opening up many development opportunities for the country's football in the coming time.
