On February 28, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security and the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises held a handover ceremony for MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation from the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises to the Ministry of Public Security.
According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, immediately after the Politburo issued a policy to transfer MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation, the Ministry of Public Security proactively coordinated to deploy activities to serve the transfer and reception work.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises Nguyen Hoang Anh emphasized that the transfer of the right to represent the state capital owner from the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises to the Ministry of Public Security is a milestone marking a new step in MobiFone's management and development.
This also demonstrates the determination of the Party and State in further improving management efficiency and ensuring information security. Thereby, maximizing the potential of state-owned enterprises in the new context.
Also at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Ngoc Lam suggested that immediately after today, comrades in the Board of Members and the Board of Directors of MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation need to determine a new, higher mindset, motivation, and political determination, and urgently coordinate with departments to immediately deploy a number of key tasks.
In particular, urgently stabilize the organization after being consolidated, clearly assign the responsibilities of each person in the Board of Members and the Board of Directors to implement production and business activities normally, continuously, without interruption. Coordinate with functional units to complete the Operating Charter and Financial Regulations of the Corporation in accordance with regulations.
Continue to coordinate with professional units to review and propose solutions to take advantage of the Ministry of Public Security's available conditions on infrastructure, transmission lines, bandwidth, digital warehouses and customers who are police officers and soldiers to report to the Ministry's leaders for consideration and decision;
At the same time, study the available favorable conditions of MobiFone to apply and support projects and plans that are being prepared for implementation in the People's Public Security force.
