On October 16, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union organized the Gala "Youth Live Beautifully" in 2024.
At the ceremony, 20 young people with outstanding achievements in the fields of: study, scientific research; national defense, security, ensuring safety and social order; production and business; culture - arts, physical education - sports; volunteer work, for community life were honored.
In the field of physical education and sports, striker Nguyen Tien Linh was the recipient of the award. Sharing at the ceremony, the striker currently playing for Binh Duong club said: "I feel very honored and grateful to be present at today's ceremony, knowing the typical examples of young people. My life is closely linked to football, linked to regular training and competition.
I always want after that time to bring positive energy and share love to everyone not only in Binh Duong province but also in Vietnam.
Currently, I am also participating in many volunteer activities in Binh Duong province. This makes me feel very happy and joyful. I hope I will try to do my job well, then spread love, help many difficult situations, in line with the spirit of mutual love of Vietnamese people."
In 2024, Tien Linh will be the one to initiate and organize volunteer and social security activities; proactively seek and support volunteer groups and people in difficult circumstances.
He also organized a charity football match to raise funds for the Binh Duong Red Cross Society, raising VND8.8 billion, auctioning footballs and signed shirts for VND730 million; the total amount of VND9.5 billion donated to the Binh Duong Red Cross Society to carry out charity projects.
With the results achieved through social security activities, Tien Linh was elected as Volunteer Ambassador of Binh Duong province.
