The announcement said that regarding the TV schedule and the match applying VAR technology in round 15 of V.League 2024-2025 issued in Notice No. 70/TB-BTC, VPF Company, the tournament organizing committee would like to announce a change in the plan not to apply VAR technology in the match between Quang Nam and Hai Phong clubs (17:00 on February 28, Tam Ky stadium) due to a technical problem.
The incident occurred with the new VAR vehicle put into operation in the 2024-2025 season. The technical problem was discovered 5 hours before the match between Quang Nam and Hai Phong clubs. The operating team has tried to find a way to fix it, but is still investigating the cause and related handling. VPF Company and its Technical Operations Partners are actively contacting FIFA and its equipment supplier partners for support in handling the incident.
Before round 15, Quang Nam had 16 points, while Hai Phong had 14 points. Coach Van Sy Son and his team are in good form in the last 3 matches when they drew with 2 candidates, Hanoi Police and Thanh Hoa, on the opponent's field and defeated Thanh Hoa at home.
In the first leg at Lach Tray, Quang Nam also played very well and won all 3 points. Therefore, there is no doubt about the goal of winning the rematch against the representative from the port city.
