On the afternoon of July 6, a press conference for the 2025 ASEAN Police and Police Football Tournament was held in Hanoi, with the support of T&T Group and SHB Bank.
The tournament was held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Security Protection Day (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), creating a meaningful sports playground for law enforcement forces of many countries.

According to the draw results, Group A includes the Vietnam People's Public Security Team I, Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia; Group B includes the Vietnam People's Public Security Team II, Australia, Singapore, and Timor-Leste.
The teams will compete in a round robin to calculate points, the top two teams in each group will enter the semi-finals and the two semi-finalists will meet in the final to select the champion.
Regarding the force, the Lao Police team has the participation of national players such as Viengkham, Phomvongsa, Xayasone, Keodouangdeth, Keoviengphet...
Meanwhile, the Thai Police team brought to the tournament players from the Thai police and police forces. Notably, former national player Tana Chanabut - who won the 2007 SEA Games with the Thai team - was also in the squad.
The Singapore Police team consists of many players and former players who have competed in the Singapore national championship for famous clubs such as Tampines Rovers, Lion City Sailors or Police SA.
In addition, the Cambodian Police, Timor Leste and the Australian away team are also highly appreciated for their dedication. They promise to bring their own colors with open play and attack, contributing to the diversity and appeal of this year's tournament.

On the host side of Vietnam, the Vietnam People's Public Security I team participated in the tournament, with the core being young players of Hanoi Police such as Ha Van Phuong, Hoang Van Toan, Giap Tuan Duong... They are all U23 Vietnam players, even Van Toan and Tuan Duong once wore the national team jersey under Mr. Troussier.
The CAND Vietnam II team brought the strongest force to the tournament with many familiar faces such as Phi Minh Long, Nguyen Van Dung, Nguyen Huy Hung...
Both home teams are determined to participate in this tournament, promising to give impressive performances because of the national championship colors.
The 2025 ASEAN Police and Police Open Football Tournament will take place from July 7 to July 15 at Hang Day Stadium (Hanoi) and PVF Stadium (Hung Yen).

- Second Division team: List of titles, cups, medals, prize money of 15,000 USD
- Third Division: List of titles, cups, medals, prize money 10,000 USD
- Stylish team: List of titles, bonus of 5,000 USD
- Best player, Best goalkeeper, Top scorer, Best referee team: Bonus of 1,000 USD/tournament
- Best Player per Match: Bonus 200 USD/tournament
