On the morning of November 15, the Vietnam team left Phu Tho to arrive at Noi Bai airport, preparing for a flight to the capital Vientiane (Laos) towards the match against the home team in the second leg of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.
After arriving in Laos, the whole team quickly moved to the hotel to stabilize their accommodation. According to the plan, the players will have the entire afternoon to rest to recover their physical condition after the move. This is a necessary preparation step to ensure the team has the best physical foundation before entering important tactical training sessions.
Adapting to weather and field conditions in Laos is also an indispensable part to help players quickly get into the rhythm of the competition environment.
Previously, the Vietnam team announced the executive committee for the November 2025 gathering. Center back Do Duy Manh continues to be trusted as captain. Midfielders Nguyen Quang Hai and Nguyen Hoang Duc take on the role of vice-captains.
