On March 21, the leaders of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) had a meeting, encouraged and assigned tasks to the coaching staff and U17 Vietnam players before leaving for Oman to train towards the 2025 U17 Asian Cup finals.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hoi - Standing Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation said that VFF always creates the best conditions for each team before each official tournament and suggested that each player always be aware of practicing and competing. VFF has made great efforts to help the team go to Oman for training and friendly matches, in order to best prepare for the U17 Asian finals.
"VFF hopes that the entire coaching staff and players, even in difficult and favorable times, will and believe in all circumstances, focus highly, be aware, courageous and responsible to achieve the best results with success in the upcoming tournament," Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hoi emphasized.
On behalf of the coaching staff, head coach Cristiano Roland thanked VFF for creating conditions for the whole team during the preparation period at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.
"Recently, U17 Vietnam has made great efforts. Although the opponents in the upcoming final round are very strong, the whole team is determined to fight with all their might," said Mr. Roland.


Also at the meeting, VFF General Secretary - Nguyen Van Phu introduced the leadership position of the U17 Vietnam team participating in the upcoming U17 Asian tournament, Mr. Mai Anh Hoang - Deputy Head of VFF Training Department. With experience in supervising AFC matches, the General Secretary believes that Mr. Mai Anh Hoang will fully support the activities of the U17 Vietnam team during the competition in Saudi Arabia.
According to the schedule, tomorrow morning (September 22), the team will leave for Oman for training and have 2 important friendly matches here.
