Just a few minutes after the 2-1 victory of U23 Vietnam over U23 Philippines in the 2025 U23 Southeast Asian Semi-Final, President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Quoc Tuan directly called to congratulate and encourage coach Kim Sang-sik and his team.
To recognize the efforts of the entire team in the journey to the final match, the Vietnam Football Federation decided to "hotly" reward 500 million VND.
Previously, after winning Group B with a total of 2 wins, U23 Vietnam also received a bonus of 500 million VND. Thus, up to this point, the total prize that U23 Vietnam received at the tournament is 1 billion VND.
President Tran Quoc Tuan also emphasized that U23 Vietnam needs to stay healthy and focus fully on the final match taking place on July 29.
U23 Vietnam will meet the winner of the remaining semi-final match between U23 Thailand and U23 Indonesia. With an excited spirit and careful preparation, Khuat Van Khang and his teammates aim for the highest goal in this tournament.
