According to Mr. Bui Nguyen Anh Tuan, upon receiving this information, the Market Management Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued instructions for the person in charge of the petition to forward to the locality, the Hanoi Market Management Department. "The content of the petition after initial verification is relatively complicated, some signs may be related to criminals, so the market management force has issued instructions for the petitioner to forward the petition to the competent authorities for handling. This is one of more than 17,000 cases that local market management forces have handled in the first 9 months of the year" - Mr. Tuan said.
According to Mr. Tuan, in recent times, the Domestic Market Management and Development Department has implemented the direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to step up the fight against, prevent and handle the acts of smuggling, trading in counterfeit goods, goods of unknown origin, and related to people's health and safety. For example, in the case of handling bird's nest products of Yen Tri Viet Company, for the first time handling administrative violations, it amounted to nearly 1 billion VND.
Regarding the management of the sale of smuggled, counterfeit, and counterfeit goods via livestream, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Huyen - Deputy Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy - said that in the past, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has focused on implementing 4 groups of solutions.
