Striker Nguyen Van Quyet said that Hanoi FC will face many difficulties when hosting Hanoi Police at the weekend.

On October 19, Hanoi FC will face Hanoi Police at Hang Day Stadium. This is a highly anticipated derby as the two teams are ranked next to each other on the rankings.

Sharing during the pre-match training session on the afternoon of October 17, striker Nguyen Van Quyet had a cautious assessment of his opponent.

"With Hanoi FC, we are always ready for matches, not just the upcoming match against Hanoi Police, because the teams in this year's V.League are all very difficult to play. Currently, in terms of force, some other players have returned to training, no one has any injury problems.

The important thing is that Hanoi FC just had a victory, that is the motivation to focus on efforts and play well at home," said the striker born in 1991.

Van Quyet shared that all Hanoi FC players watched videos, studied their opponents, and the coaching staff had their own strategies.

"Currently, Hanoi Police have quality players. We will try to break their defense. To do this, we need to focus, research and have our own strategies."

"The whole team will try to concentrate, aiming for at least 1 point. Not only me but the players, including the central defenders, must strive to shine. Hopefully the upcoming match will be played honestly, with effort and the team with more determination and better spirit will win," Van Quyet added.

Hanoi FC currently has 6 points, while Hanoi Police have 4 points after the first 3 rounds. The team that wins this match can squeeze into the top 4.
