The first semi-final match of the tournament is the match between Phong Phu Ha Nam and Thai Nguyen T&T taking place on the afternoon of December 8.
With all wins in the "death group", Phong Phu Ha Nam entered the match confidently and played offensively to seek an advantage.

But the advantage of Vietnam Coal and Minerals did not last long. In a chaotic situation in front of the goal, Nguyen Thi Tuyet Ngan controlled the ball and accurately finished to tie the score 1-1 for HCMC.
In the second half, Vietnam Coal and Minerals put a lot of pressure on the HCMC field. However, Quach Thu Em played excellently and helped the home team protect the score.
