During the V.League break to make room for the national team, the Hanoi Police Club invited a European team to Vietnam for a friendly match. The opponent of coach Mano Polking and his team was SK Slavia Praha - the most successful team in the Czech Republic.
Founded in 1892, the European team has won seven national championships since the Czech national championship was established in 1993.
In the international arena, they have twice qualified for the UEFA Champions League, twice reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League and are currently ranked 34th in the European club rankings.
SK Slavia Praha brought 13 players to Vietnam. Among them, striker Ivan Schranz is the face that received the most attention.
