From now until the end of the year, V.League 2024-2025 will take a break to make room for the Vietnam national team's match schedule.
Taking advantage of the free time, Hanoi Police Club has planned to invite a European football team to play a friendly match in December.
According to the club, their opponents will be Slavia Prague. This is a top team in the Czech Republic, with Slovakian striker Ivan Schranz. At EURO 2024, Ivan Schranz was the joint top scorer with 3 goals, alongside Harry Kane (England), Jamal Musiala (Germany), Cody Gakpo (Netherlands), Dani Olmo (Spain) and Georges Mikautadze (Georgia).
After EURO 2024, Ivan Schranz suffered a knee injury and was out for nearly 2 months. He only returned in early November after missing the first 9 matches of the season.
The friendly match with Slavia Prague will be a valuable opportunity for coach Mano Polking and his team to compete with a strong opponent. The Czech Republic representative is a team with many achievements in the domestic league and regularly participates in the European arena. This season, they are competing in the Europa League - the second-tier tournament of the continent.
