Ms. Pham Thu Trang is Head of the Women's Committee, Trade Union of the Institute of Food Industry, Member of the Committee for Women's Progress - Institute of Food Industry (FIRI). After 21 years of working, in professional work, as the main researcher of the Center for Industrial Biochemistry, Ms. Trang and the unit perform many high-quality jobs.
For example, increasing the production volume and supplying to the market 10 branded products of the Institute including: AZ48 health protection food ( digestive enzymes supporting the treatment of constipation, helping to eat well, strengthening resistance during epidemics), Gold soybean germ extract (improving female physiology, beauty, Nano Curcumin Xạ đen health protection food, Lotus leaf tea, Xạ đen tea...; participating in the project (2020 – 2024) "Research on building technology processes and equipment lines to produce some health-supporting drinks rich in chlorogenic acid (CGA) from green coffee beans".
Ms. Trang also participated in the Ministry of Industry and Trade task "Research on applying enzymes to create spatial structures to enhance nutritional and sensory values for processed products from seafood by-products", implementation time from 2025-2026...
In Trade Union work, in her position as Head of the Women's Committee, Member of the Committee for the Advancement of Women, Ms. Trang is always active, proactive, daring to think, daring to do, finding new ways of doing things, new products and services, highly effective, and unique in work and labor production.
In particular, Ms. Trang has initiatives, improvements, and solutions contributing to the development of agencies, units, businesses, and trade union organizations. Thereby contributing to community development and inspiring, creating motivation to promote personal and social development.
FIRI officials, union members, and employees still remember FIRI Food Festival held on the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20, 2023. This is an activity organized by Ms. Trang to advise the Executive Committee of the Institute's Trade Union. The factor for everyone to remember FIRI Food Festival is the innovation in the Trade Union's operating method. Here, 9 teams participated in a live cooking contest at the Institute.
Each team cooks a dish with the ingredients that have been drawn. More uniquely, each dish uses ingredients, products or technology from research topics, initiatives in the process of working and learning from trade union groups that have been, are and will be implemented. The contest is an opportunity for officials and employees in the Institute to gain more experience, learn more skills in using ingredients in processing and decorating dishes, many creative processing methods applying Science and Technology such as fermentation, fermentation, salt, making 3D fish eggs...
Many union members said that the contest has enriched each meal in each family and they have applied technology in processing new dishes so that the dishes are delicious, unique, and strange, retaining full nutritional value while still ensuring food safety.
Most recently, in 2025, in response to the Plan to organize the Workers' Month of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union and celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day (May 18), Ms. Trang proposed and together with the Executive Committee of the Trade Union organized the program "Science and Life" associated with a visit to Quynh Vien Sea Tourism Area (Ha Tinh). This is not only a time for rest, internal connection after stressful working days, but also a journey to the source - returning to nature and history, with national pride and aspiration for sustainable scientific development.
Take care of your family and not forget to take care of yourself
Ms. Pham Thu Trang is one of the examples of Good at state affairs - Good at housework in the 2020-2025 period of the Vietnam Trade and Industry Union. She is not only dedicated to professional and mass organizational work but also takes care of her family. With love and cultivated knowledge, Ms. Trang has arranged time to build and develop a family home. Her family members live in an equal, harmonious, respectful and loving environment; her children are well-educated, study well, and are filial, thereby contributing to building a prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized family.
Another point about Ms. Trang that many women admire and follow is that besides cultivating professional knowledge and work, Ms. Trang also pays attention to taking care of and beautifying herself. She always trains her health, maintains a simple and healthy lifestyle and regularly participates with relatives and colleagues in sports, cultural and artistic activities at the agency and in the locality. As a woman of the new era, Ms. Trang proactively learns more knowledge about nutrition and health care skills to apply in daily life, ensuring that she and her family have a healthy and sustainable life.
In the process of working and contributing, Ms. Trang received many forms of commendation from all levels, but perhaps the biggest reward is the image of a modern woman, dedicated to professional work, unions and having a happy family home.
