Grassroots unions regularly monitor the implementation of the company's policies and regulations for employees. This includes monitoring and checking food safety and hygiene, and determining the quantity of meals for employees. In 2024, 1,420 inspections were conducted, including 533 workplace safety inspections, 456 industrial kitchen inspections, and 431 drinking water safety inspections. Thereby, the risk of unsafe work was overcome, and no food poisoning occurred.
Organized 89 training courses on occupational safety and health for 91,701 workers; developed and supplemented 43 documents on internal regulations and safe working procedures. Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union provided 300 books on “Occupational Safety and Health Training” and “Guidelines on general methods for identifying hazardous and toxic factors, assessing occupational safety and health risks” to grassroots trade unions.
Thanks to good work safety and hygiene, the whole system has not had any occupational accidents causing damage to the health and lives of workers at the workplace.
