Within the framework of the 2025 Creative Labor Festival at the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, at the forum "Promoting the creative potential of workers", Mr. Nguyen Duc Manh - an improvement employee of Hoa Tho Textile Joint Stock Corporation shared his experiences and recommendations in the creative labor movement.
Accordingly, in the past 5 years, thanks to his own efforts and the support of the Corporation's Board of Directors, the encouragement of the grassroots trade union and the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union, Mr. Manh has researched and implemented more than 50 technical innovation initiatives. In which, many initiatives are replicated inside and outside the Corporation.
Also from reality, Mr. Manh said that innovation from the workforce still has many barriers. One of them is the mindset of "working for a salary" that is still popular because it is not clear to see the connection between initiatives and income and benefits.
In addition, according to Mr. Manh, repetitive work and high production pressure make workers have less opportunity to experiment with new ways of doing things.
Therefore, Mr. Manh expressed his wish that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organize the Creative Labor Festival more regularly so that workers can share their experiences and learn good experiences from friends and colleagues.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Manh is one of 3 authors/groups of authors of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union to be awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
