Worldwide implementation of the "Thank You Workers" program
With the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneering in entering a new era" and "Strengthening assessment, identification of risks and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace" of Workers' Month - Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025, trade unions at all levels of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province have implemented practical and meaningful activities, towards the grassroots level.
Notably, the "Thank You to Workers" program is widely and practically organized throughout the province. In particular, the Provincial Federation of Labor has coordinated with a number of grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions of enterprises with a large number of employees such as: Meisheng Textiles Vietnam Co., Ltd.'s Trade Union; AJ Solution Production Co., Ltd.; Chang Chun Vina Co., Ltd. to implement activities to thank employees and support those in difficult circumstances.
Thereby, hundreds of gifts have been presented by trade unions at all levels to thank outstanding workers who have made many contributions; thousands of gifts to support those in difficult circumstances to overcome difficulties and improve their lives.
The grassroots trade unions have implemented many practical activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers such as: Vung Tau City Labor Federation organizes cultural programs, gives gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, sports festival "Workers, Civil Servants, and Workers are happy - healthy"; Ba Ria City Labor Federation, Long Dat District Labor Federation organizes thematic talks with the theme "Women in the new era and how to approach issues with a multidimensional perspective"...
Many business unions also implemented practical activities to care for union members and workers such as: Thong Nhat Rubber Joint Stock Company's Trade Union honored outstanding workers, gave birthday gifts to employees born in May; Prime Asia VN Company Limited's Trade Union organized the Sports Festival "Health to create, solidarity to reach far"; Dong Phuong Vung Tau Company Limited's Trade Union organized a sports festival with sports such as tug of war, sack jumping, cross country running...
Promoting and implementing many activities during Workers' Month
According to the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor, in recent times, trade unions at all levels have strongly implemented activities under the theme of Workers' Month, focusing on activities to care for workers.
Since April 2025, the provincial trade union has synchronously implemented many propaganda and education activities on occupational safety and health in industrial parks and enterprises, identifying risks and preventive measures. At the same time, coordinate to inspect high-risk occupations; equip union officials with more knowledge to improve their capacity to supervise and protect the rights of workers at the grassroots level.
During Workers' Month, provincial trade unions at all levels plan and are taking care of about 5,000 workers with a total amount of 3.8 billion VND; supporting the construction and repair of 6 Trade Union Shelters with an amount of 250 million VND; organizing visits and encouragement to workers in difficult circumstances, families of workers who have had work accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses.
At the same time, deploy the Peak Month for developing union members, establish grassroots unions; introduce and develop workers' party members; propaganda activities, raise awareness of union members and workers...
In the coming time, trade unions at all levels will continue to coordinate and implement many programs and activities at the grassroots level such as: the program "Creative workers, firmly entering the new era"; "Creative Labor Day 2025"; "May Dialogue", and the forum "Party with workers - Workers with the Party" ...
Mr. Le Van Hoa - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor said that through practical and meaningful activities, towards workers, it has demonstrated the close companionship of the trade union organization with the labor force, who are directly creating wealth and value for society. Contributing to strengthening solidarity, promoting the pioneering and creative role of employees, meeting the requirements of industrialization, modernization, and international integration in the new situation.
