In which, the working delegation of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union led by Comrade Do Duc Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union as Head of the delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts at Duy Tien War Invalids Nursing Center and Kim Bang War Invalids Nursing Center (Ninh Binh province).
At the meetings, on behalf of union members and workers of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, Comrade Do Duc Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, cordially inquired about the health and life of wounded and sick soldiers being cared for and nursed at centers.
In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, Comrade Do Duc Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union emphasized: "Each wounded soldier and sick soldier is a vivid symbol of patriotism, of indomitable will and noble sacrifice for national independence and freedom. The wounds still bearing on the bodies of comrades today are a sacred proof of the value of peace that today's generations are enjoying. Trade union officials and members of the electricity industry trade union always remember and are infinitely grateful for the great contributions and sacrifices of heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and families with meritorious services to the revolution".
The Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union expressed his wish that wounded and sick soldiers continue to maintain their health, promote the noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", and forever be bright examples for younger generations to learn and follow; and wished the team of officials, doctors, and staff of the centers to always be healthy and continue to perform well the task of caring for and nursing those who have contributed a part of their blood and bones to the Fatherland.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union presented each War Invalids Nursing Center with money and gifts worth 32 million VND, the total value presented at the two centers is 64 million VND.
It is known that, to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union will organize 2 delegations to visit 4 War Invalids Nursing Centers in the Northern region, with a total budget of 128 million VND, showing the responsibility, affection and deep gratitude of union members and workers of the Electricity industry to those who sacrificed and contributed for the independence and freedom of the nation.
