Ca Mau - On the morning of January 7, Ganh Hao Border Guard Station (Ca Mau Border Guard) said that the unit promptly supported bringing a seriously ill crew member to the emergency room.

At about 2:40 am on the same day, Ganh Hao Border Guard Station received a report from Mr. Nguyen Van Dien (born in 1979, residing in Tan Thuy commune, Vinh Long province) - captain of fishing boat BT-98471-TS, crew member Nguyen Van Nhut (born in 1976, residing in Tan Xuan commune, Vinh Long province) showing symptoms of chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, convulsions (suspected of myocardial infarction) while operating at sea. At that time, the fishing boat was on its way ashore, about 7 nautical miles southwest of Ganh Hao estuary.

Immediately after receiving the news, Ganh Hao Border Guard Station directed the Border Guard Station to requisition 1 vehicle, and at the same time sent 4 officers and soldiers to quickly approach the fishing boat to provide initial first aid to the distressed crew member, bring them ashore safely, and transfer them to the health station for timely emergency treatment.

Currently, Mr. Nguyen Van Nhut's health has stabilized and he has been transferred to higher levels for further monitoring and treatment.
