BIDV Trade Union levels organize many deep gratitude activities

Hanoi - BIDV Trade Union has directed grassroots trade unions throughout the system to simultaneously organize many gratitude activities to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day.

Accordingly, in response to the activities commemorating the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026), continuing to implement the "Gratitude" movement, under the direction of the BIDV Trade Union, grassroots trade unions throughout the system simultaneously organized many gratitude activities, attracting a large number of officials, union members and workers to participate.

The working delegations visited Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of wounded soldiers, martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution; offered incense at martyrs' cemeteries and memorials; presented meaningful gifts, and shared with nursing centers for people with meritorious services.

Each activity carries the respect, gratitude and responsibility of today's generation towards those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The highlight in this year's series of activities is the harmonious connection between social security work and revolutionary tradition education.

Many "Returning to the Roots" programs are organized at historical sites such as the Vietnam Military History Museum, Dong Loc Junction, Tam Co Cave, Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, National Martyrs' Cemetery of Road 9 or Hoang Sa Exhibition House.

Not only stopping at offering incense and commemorating, union members also directly learn about the heroic pages of the nation's history, listen to stories about the sacrifices of previous generations, thereby further cherishing the values of peace, independence and freedom.

For many young union members, these are truly special "classes" of history. Each artifact, each story, each place name becomes a vivid lesson about patriotism, civic responsibility and aspiration to contribute to the country in the new period.

This year's series of gratitude activities on War Invalids and Martyrs' Day continues to affirm the core role of the BIDV Trade Union in gathering union members, caring for the spiritual life of workers and building corporate culture.
