To celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026) and the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), the delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor led by Mr. Le Van Nghia - Vice President as Head of the delegation came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet at the Monument to Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet (Vu Ninh ward, Bac Ninh province).
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates respectfully offered flowers and incense, and observed a minute of silence to express their deep gratitude to Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet.
Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet's real name is Ha Ba Cang, born on May 28, 1905 in Bac Ninh province.
Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet, a loyal communist soldier, a typical predecessor leader of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh.
The life and revolutionary career of Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet is a bright example of patriotism, steadfast, indomitable, optimistic fighting spirit, and belief in the revolutionary cause of our Party and State.
Comrade has made many great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, especially in the process of building and developing the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
During his revolutionary activities, he held many important responsibilities of the Party and State, including holding the position of Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (I, II, III terms from 1950-1978) - now the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour.
Also in the program, on behalf of the working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Comrade Le Van Nghia, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, presented 10 million VND in support to the Management Board of the Hoang Quoc Viet historical relic site.
This is an activity showing the concern of the Trade Union organization for the preservation and promotion of the value of relics associated with the glorious traditions of the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
Before the spirit of Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet, Comrade Le Van Nghia, on behalf of officials, union members and Trade Union levels nationwide, vowed to continue to promote revolutionary traditions, strengthen solidarity, innovate content and methods of operation, promote patriotic emulation movements, and be determined to successfully complete the assigned goals and tasks.
From there, contributing to building the Vietnam Trade Union organization to become increasingly strong, meeting the requirements in the new development stage of the country.
