Accordingly, the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 9 Branch, has simultaneously organized propaganda, environmental sanitation activities at its head office in Hai Chau District (Da Nang), along with transaction points in Quang Tri, Hue, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai.
The presence of unit leaders and officials, civil servants, and workers from departments and satellite transaction points at the Environmental Action Month response activity demonstrated the high determination in environmental protection of each cadre, civil servant, and employee of the unit.
The cadres, civil servants and workers have actively carried out many practical activities and promoted awareness raising with messages about environmental protection widely conveyed to people around the headquarters area and all cadres and civil servants in the Branch.
In particular, the activity focuses on raising public awareness of solid waste classification at source; minimizing the use of disposable plastic products and hard-to-decompose plastic bags; encouraging changes in living habits towards "green living", environmentally friendly.
All cadres, civil servants and workers have cleaned the premises, offices, halls of headquarters, cleared sewers in the waste treatment area, contributing to ensuring the environmental landscape is always green, clean and beautiful. This activity not only improves the working environment but also spreads awareness and responsibility to protect the living environment to the community.
