On September 7, continuing the working program in Vietnam, a delegation of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union, the Construction, Wood and Mine Trade Union of the Republic of Cyprus PEO visited and learned about the operations of Phuong Thanh Transport Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company.
At the working session, the working delegation was briefly introduced to the formation, development, production and business activities of the Company; the situation of trade union organization and activities, the work of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
At the same time, the two sides exchanged and shared experiences in organizing trade union activities, taking care of life and jobs, and building a safe and stable working environment for workers.

After the working session at the Company's headquarters, the delegation visited and learned about the reality at the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway toll station, learned about working conditions, safety, occupational hygiene and the working environment of workers and laborers.
On this occasion, Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong - Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union presented 60 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members, workers, and laborers of the Company.
Previously, on September 4, the delegation also visited, worked and visited, and learned about the reality at the Capital One Project - a complex of commercial centers, offices, serviced apartments and international standard hotels invested and built by VINACONEX Corporation.
At the working session, representatives of the parties exchanged and shared experiences in trade union activities. Through open exchanges, delegates also noted many similarities in trade union activities between Vietnam and the Republic of Cyprus, thereby contributing to strengthening understanding, connection and opening up practical cooperation opportunities in the coming time.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union presented 60 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members, workers, and laborers working at the Project.
