The delegation of the Ministry of Health led by Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen - Deputy Minister of Health visited, wished Tet and presented gifts to 200 poor households, near-poor households and households in difficult circumstances in Hoang Hoa Tham commune, Hung Yen province.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Luong Tam - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Medical Union; Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Medical Union.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Health, sent heartfelt greetings and wished the households a peaceful and warm traditional Tet. The comrade emphasized that caring for poor households, near-poor households and families in difficult circumstances is a major policy of the Party and State and is the common responsibility of the whole society, in which the health sector plays an important role in health care and ensuring social security.
The Deputy Minister affirmed that the health sector always links professional tasks with social responsibility, considering social security work as a regular task, especially during Tet and Spring. On this occasion, Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen presented 100 million VND to support Tet care for households and 40 million VND to support the local Scholarship Fund, contributing to encouraging people and young generations to rise up in life.
Attending the program, Mr. Nguyen Luong Tam - Chairman of the Vietnam Medical Union shared: The gifts presented are the crystallization of the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and joint efforts of organizations and individuals towards the community; thereby promptly encouraging and sharing with poor households, near-poor households and families in difficult circumstances during the Lunar New Year.

Mr. Nguyen Luong Tam affirmed that timely attention not only contributes to material support but also spreads human values, adding faith so that people can be assured to welcome Spring.
On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Luong Tam presented 200 gifts, worth a total of 75 million VND, contributing to the locality in caring for the material and spiritual life of the people, to make the traditional Tet even warmer and more meaningful.
