Salary grades of education officials when removing rank division
In Decree 232/2026/ND-CP regulating the position of civil servants, the Government has issued a list of professional and nghiệp vụ civil servant positions in public non-business units in Appendix II issued together with the Decree.
For the field of education and training, currently there are only the following job positions: Preschool teachers; primary school teachers; secondary school teachers; high school teachers; university preparatory teachers; continuing education teachers; primary school teachers; secondary school teachers; vocational secondary school teachers; college lecturers; university lecturers; training and fostering lecturers (including: Lecturers, Principal Lecturers, Senior Lecturers, Professors, Associate Professors); lecturers of political schools (including: Lecturers, Principal Lecturers, Senior Lecturers, Professors, Associate Professors); training management; quality management of education.


Teachers were previously often divided into 3 ranks (Rank I, Rank II, Rank III) according to circulars regulating codes and professional title standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Thus, according to new regulations, from July 2026, ranking will be abolished, and new professional titles will be transferred according to Decree 232. See more...

Ho Chi Minh City parents bring rice to school for their children after temporarily suspending semi-boarding
At noon on September 16, after finishing the class, hundreds of students of Ho Van Long Secondary School (Binh Tan ward, Ho Chi Minh City) took turns leaving the classroom. Instead of using semi-boarding meals as usual, many students stood waiting for parents to bring rice or be picked up by relatives to go home.

At the school gate, some parents took advantage of lunch break time to bring lunch boxes and food to send to their children.
Ms. Thanh Loan - a parent of a student at Ho Van Long Secondary School said that on September 15, while going to work, she received a notice from the school about temporarily suspending the offering of semi-boarding meals.
