The Ministry of Education and Training announced the draft Circular Promulgating the Regulations on diplomas and certificates of the national education system to collect comments.
In particular, the dossier proposing to revise the content of the diploma and certificate is clearly stated in Clause 3, Article 15 of the draft Circular. Specifically as follows:
3. The dossier proposes to revise the content of the diploma and certificate:
a) The application for revisions to the content of the degree or certificate, on the Application form, there is information about: Personal identification number; degree or certificate number (if any); number in the certificate or certificate issuance book; date of issuance of the degree or certificate;
b) Documents and certificates of proposal for amendment;
c) Record or decide to change or rectify the civil status, re-determine ethnicity, and re-determine gender in cases of editing degrees and certificates due to changes or rectify the civil status, re-determining ethnicity, and re-determining gender;
d) sinhficate in cases of chinhending the content of the diploma or certificate due to supplementing the civil status, adjusting the civil status, re-registering the birth, registering the birth of a deceased child;
d) The documents in the dossier requesting to revise the content of the diploma or certificate specified in Points b, c, and d of this Clause are a copy from the original book or a certified copy from the original or a source cited to extract information from the database of a competent authority.
In case these documents are unverified copies, the person requesting the editing of the certificate must present the original for the dossier recipient to compare; the dossier recipient must sign the confirmation, clearly state the full name on the copy and be responsible for the accuracy of the copy compared to the original.
