On the morning of October 21, the leader of Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited informed that the water level in Ke Go lake (Cam Due commune) at 7:00 a.m. on October 20 was +29.19m.

According to the forecast of the Ha Tinh Province Hydrometeorological Station, from the night of October 22 to October 25, Ha Tinh province will have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain. Rainfall in common areas is 150-300mm.

To ensure the safety of the Ke Go reservoir project, Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited announced that starting from 10:00 on October 21, it will operate the regulation of Ke Go lake water through Doc Mieu spillway with a flow rate of 5m3/s to 90m3/s. The time of completion of the spillway will be based on weather developments and lake water levels.

Along with Ke Go Lake, to proactively respond to the forecast of heavy rain, Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited also simultaneously operates spillway discharge with appropriate flow at large reservoir projects in the province, including Boc Nguyen Lake, Kim Son, Thuong Song Tri...

Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited requests that localities in the downstream area urgently notify, urge, and guide people to take measures to ensure the safety of life and property when reservoirs overflow.
