Grilled bacon and vegetable rolls are a light and delicious appetizer. The distinctive flavor of bacon combined with the freshness of vegetables will make your weekend family meal more enjoyable.
To make this dish, housewives need to prepare ingredients including: 200gr of bacon; vegetables such as carrots, zucchini, green beans, onions... and some other basic spices.
First, prepare the vegetables with carrots, zucchini, onions washed and cut into long, bite-sized pieces. Cut off the ends of the green beans and wash them.
Next, saute the above vegetables. However, to keep the vegetables crispy and delicious, housewives should use olive oil when sauteing, and season with a little salt and pepper.
Spread the bacon slices on a flat plate, add the vegetable mixture and roll tightly. Use bamboo sticks to secure the roll.
Preheat oven to 200°C for 5 minutes. Gently place the rolls on the grill and bake for 10 - 15 minutes until the meat is golden brown on all sides.
In case you don't have an oven, you can use an air fryer or pan-fry directly on a pan at a medium temperature. Turn the rolls constantly to avoid burning.
Remove the meat rolls from the oven and place on paper towels to absorb excess fat. These rolls can be served with chili sauce, mayonnaise or dipping sauce depending on your family's preference.
