On June 3, Mr. Thai Ngoc Son - Chairman of Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong province) said that the unit had mobilized resources and coordinated with the grassroots Trade Union of Binh Thuan Traditional Medicine Hospital - Rehabilitation to organize visits and give gifts to pediatric patients being treated at the hospital.
The activity is implemented during the Action Month for Children in 2026, showing the concern of the trade union organization for children in difficult circumstances who are being treated for illness.

Accordingly, each pediatric patient received a cash gift worth 200,000 VND. In the hospital rooms, many children and relatives were surprised and touched when receiving encouragement from trade union officials.
Mr. Thai Ngoc Son said that the material value of each gift is not large but carries practical spiritual significance, contributing to sharing difficulties and supporting part of the treatment costs for families with children being treated.

Through these activities, the trade union organization wishes to spread the spirit of mutual affection, and at the same time affirm the role of the trade union not only stopping at caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers but also actively participating in social and charitable activities, towards the community," Mr. Son shared.
Previously, authorized by the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union organized visits and presented gifts to 72 union members in difficult circumstances and suffering from dangerous diseases in the area. Each case received 500,000 VND in cash, with a total budget of 36 million VND.

According to the leader of Phu Thuy ward trade union, activities to care for union members and support the community are maintained regularly, especially for cases facing difficulties due to illness and special circumstances.
Thereby contributing to promoting the role of trade union organizations in social security work, caring for the lives of workers and spreading human values in the community.
