Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hoa - Chairman of Hoi An City Labor Federation emphasized that Workers' Month in 2025 has the theme "Vietnamese Workers' Level: Pioneering to enter a new era".
Along with that, the 2025 Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month was implemented with the theme "Strengthening assessment, identification of risks and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace".
Responding activities will be widely deployed throughout the city from May 1 to May 31, aiming to care for the material and spiritual life of workers, while raising awareness of labor safety in the business community.
One of the key contents of this year's Action Month is to focus on mobilizing resources, funds and conditions to organize visits, encouragement - sharing, giving gifts, to union members - workers and their children in difficult circumstances, those affected by natural disasters and diseases... Accordingly, the leaders of the city and trade unions at all levels have deployed and urged agencies, units, enterprises, employers and trade unions at all levels to pay attention to implementation - Mr. Hoa emphasized.
At the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Lanh - Vice Chairman of Hoi An City People's Committee - highly appreciated the effectiveness of the programs in recent years. Labor safety and hygiene in Hoi An city has had positive changes that have attracted more attention from sectors, localities, businesses, production and business establishments and workers.
Many agencies, units and enterprises have well implemented regulations on environmental sanitation, labor protection, occupational safety and hygiene, health care and attention to improving working conditions for workers in conjunction with the emulation movement "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" in each agency and enterprise; creating a new momentum in production and labor in all fields, said Mr. Nguyen Van Lanh - Vice Chairman of Hoi An City People's Committee.
On this occasion, Hoi An City Labor Federation presented 30 gifts to union members - workers in difficult circumstances proposed by the grassroots union. Hoi An City People's Committee and the Department of Internal Affairs, which were allocated from the BTTE Fund, presented 30 gifts to children of workers in difficult circumstances. The Quang Nam Provincial Federation of Labor supported 2 rounds with a total of 50 gifts.
