The tournament takes place from April 20 to May 24, 2025.
Mr. Pham Thai Duong - Chairman of the Trade Union of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks - said that the 2025 Traditional Men's and Women's Football Tournament is an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); 139 years of International Labor Day 1.5 (1.5 (1.51.1886 - May 1, 2025), and is also one of the activities in response to Workers' Month and Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025.
This is also an opportunity to gather union members, workers and laborers to actively participate in cultural and sports activities to enhance physical and intellectual capacity to serve workers, production and business, contributing to the successful implementation of the political, economic and social tasks of the unit and enterprise.
According to the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor, implementing the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on organizing Workers' Month in 2025 with the theme: "Vietnamese Workers are pioneers entering a new era", the Provincial Federation of Labor has just issued a plan to organize activities for Workers' Month in 2025.
Accordingly, strive for 55% or more of grassroots trade unions in all types of enterprises to have at least 1 activity in response to Workers' Month; 35% or more of grassroots trade unions in administrative agencies and public service units to have at least 1 activity in response to Workers' Month. The launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025 will take place at 8:00 a.m. on April 26, 2025, at the Provincial Labor Culture House.
