On December 18, at Khanh Hoa Provincial Sports Stadium, the Trade Union coordinated with the Youth Union of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest State-owned Company Limited to organize the award ceremony and summarize the traditional sports festival for officers, workers and laborers of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company in 2024.
The sports festival took place from December 16-18, with the participation of more than 350 athletes who are employees from 28 affiliated units. This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day and the 34th anniversary of the company's founding.
At the closing ceremony, nearly 1,000 workers from various units had tense, thrilling and emotional moments while watching three dramatic final matches in men's football, women's goal kicking and tug of war.
According to the organizers, over 3 days of continuous competition, athletes participated in a total of 116 matches in 5 sports including: badminton, table tennis, men's and women's tug of war, sack race relay, and futsal.
With the spirit of honest, noble, and united sportsmanship, along with careful preparation and full effort, the athletes have given the audience many good plays, beautiful balls, and many attractive matches with high professional quality.
The sports festival not only brings workers a joyful, exciting and dramatic atmosphere but also spreads a new vitality to the units, stimulates the spirit of physical exercise and sports, and raises awareness of building corporate culture.
At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded the First, Second and Third prizes to the categories. The First Prize for the entire team with a trophy, flag and a cash prize of 10 million VND and a product was awarded to Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Beverage Joint Stock Company. There were also 5 secondary prizes awarded to outstanding athletes with a prize of 1 million VND and a product.
With a hundred-year-old tradition of the profession, the sports festival for employees of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company has been maintained annually by the company and the union and developed into a widespread movement within the system of units.
