On January 12, the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor organized the program "Happy Tet - Spring of gratitude to the Party" and the 2025 Trade Union Fair.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairwoman of the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor Dinh Thi Ngoc Lan said that last year, the Provincial Federation of Labor directed trade unions at all levels to carry out many activities and achieved many encouraging results, especially in caring for the lives of union members, workers and trade union social activities.
In 2024, the Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with philanthropists to promptly visit and give gifts and subsidies to more than 38,436 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total amount of over 55,469 billion VND.
With the goal of "All union members and workers have Tet", "Wherever there are workers facing difficulties, there is a Trade Union organization", the Provincial Federation of Labor organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" and the Trade Union Fair in 2025.
In the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" and the Trade Union Fair today, the Provincial Labor Federation allocated funds to support 5,500 gifts for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total support value of 2.75 billion VND; supported the construction of 35 "Trade Union Shelters" worth more than 1.2 billion VND; at the program, there were 4 free booths including 2,320 gifts worth 417 million VND, 19 discount booths for union members and workers. The total amount was more than 4.34 billion VND.
In the coming days, authorities at all levels will continue to visit and support union members and workers in the province with 490 gifts worth 560 million VND.
The Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor hopes that in the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to receive sponsorship and support from business units in activities to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
