On August 10, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions was promoted by trade union levels in the province in the first 7 months of the year. As a result, 113 grassroots trade unions were established and 7,691 new union members were admitted.
Currently, the Provincial Labor Federation manages 28 commune, ward, and special zone trade unions, along with 1,050 grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions, with 95,935 union members.
Along with expanding the trade union organization at the grassroots level, trade union levels organized 5 training classes for nearly 1,000 turns of officials, thereby improving operational skills and meeting the requirements in the new situation.

The work of caring for and protecting workers' rights also recorded many results. In 7 months, nearly 115,000 union members and workers benefited from care programs with a total budget of more than 46 billion VND.
Dialogue and negotiation activities at enterprises continue to be emphasized. There are 539 enterprises organizing employee conferences, 293 enterprises organizing periodic dialogues at workplaces and 679 enterprises with trade union organizations eligible to negotiate and sign collective labor agreements. Notably, 48 enterprises have adjusted and improved the quality of lunch meals for employees.
Dialogue between provincial leaders and trade union officials, union members and workers is also organized, creating more channels for issues of employment, income, life and rights to be reflected and directly exchanged.

Faced with the above results, Ms. Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, requested the Provincial Labor Federation to continue to proactively grasp the employment situation, income, life, thoughts and aspirations of workers.
Trade union levels in the province are required to improve the quality of dialogue, collective negotiation, and promptly coordinate to resolve difficulties and obstacles right from the grassroots level.
At the same time, strengthen coordination with businesses and employers; encourage workers to improve productivity, apply science and technology, innovate, digitally transform and improve techniques.
