On September 15, the Binh Thuan Labor Federation announced that it had issued a plan to organize an online contest to learn about "Traffic Safety Laws" among union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the province.
The contest will take place from the morning of September 23 to 10:00 p.m. on October 13. Contestants are officials, union members, workers, civil servants, and employees at grassroots trade unions of agencies, units, and enterprises directly under 17 grassroots trade unions.
The content of the questions in the contest is related to the Law on Road Traffic; Law on Prevention and Control of Harmful Effects of Alcohol and Beer; Decree No. 100/2019/ND-CP on regulations on administrative sanctions for violations in the field of road and railway traffic; Decree No. 123/2021/ND-CP; Resolution No. 73/2022/QH on pilot auction of automobile license plates; Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety 2024 (effective from January 1, 2025).
The award structure includes individual and collective awards. Individual awards include 1 First Prize of 1.2 million VND, 3 Second Prizes, 10 Third Prizes and 14 Consolation Prizes. Collective awards are for 2 levels: the trade union at the level directly above the grassroots level and the grassroots trade union.
The contest is organized with funding from the Traffic Safety Committee of Binh Thuan Province. According to the Binh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor, organizing the contest online is to avoid boredom for union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers and to change the form of propaganda of traffic safety laws.
2024 is the first year that the Binh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor organizes an online contest on traffic safety. Thereby, it aims to create a strong change in the work of ensuring traffic order and safety for cadres, union members, workers, and laborers in agencies, units, and enterprises.
